You will see this title a lot. Since we both teach it is only right that we share the humor from our day.
Third grade student: "Mrs. Smith, your belly is getting bigger."
Stacy: "Why yes it is. That is because there is a baby growing inside my belly."
Third grade student: "Um, does your husband know about this?"

Andy and Stacy
We thought a blog would be a fun way to keep in touch with you all and to keep you up to date on our chaos. We hope you enjoy reading our stories and share some of your own. We love and miss all of you.
Andy just started his fourth year teaching fourth grade at Star Center. He has a very large class of 26 this year. It will probably prove to be a very challenging year because he has a lot going on. He continues to coach the freshman boys soccer team at Badger High School and just started working on his thesis for his master's degree. He should graduate this May and then maybe he can relax....oh wait! He has a BABY coming. Never mind the relaxing part!
Stacy just started her fourth year of teaching as well. However, she has taken on a new challenge of team teaching first grade. Her teaching partner and her have 32 students this year! Needless to say it will be a very exciting year with the students and the baby on the way. Stacy is also working on her thesis and will graduate with Andy in May! Whew!
Both of us are extremely excited about becoming parents. We cannot wait to meet our baby and share in this new chapter of our lives together. We also cannot believe how fast life goes...are we seriously going to be parents? Yes, we planned it! :)
From Puppy to....

Introducing the new love or our lives....
It's a....
We'd tell you, but we do not know. Yes, why it is true that we live in a world full of wonderful technology that could tell us boy or girl we want to wait until the baby arrives. There are so few beautiful and true surprises in life and we feel this will be the best surprise of our lives. Planning what? No baby ever arrived and was disappointed in the color of his or her room. So, boy or girl? Take a guess and we will tell you in February!
