SHE has arrived!

On Sunday, February 1st our little miracle arrived during the Superbowl. Don't worry guys, Andy was able to see all, but the third quarter. We heard that was not all that interesting anyways. She just wanted to see the game with her daddy so she came a little earlier than expected. Andy and the Doc. watched the end of the first half together while I was getting my spinal tap for surgery.

Our little girl was quite cramped in there, but after a lot of tugging Dr. Mike was able to pull her out. What I thought was for sure a little boy turned out to be the most amazing and beautiful little girl. I know that is a bit of a strong statement, but if you are a parent you understand the feeling. I get that feeling now.

We are making our way home later today. We are a bit nervous to do this on our own. I think I am most nervous because of my condition and how sore I am. However, I have the most amazing husband and he has been wonderful. My mom is also here helping and Andy and I could not be doing this without her. Thank you mom. Andy's parents are also coming on Friday to meet their first grandbaby and help out. Andy is so excited to introduce the new little lady in his life to his parents. He is very excited. I know I am not easy to be around when I am frustrated and knowing that I cannot be being super mom right now is hard on me, but having super mom and super husband has been a blessing.

We will keep you posted the best we can as we feel energized enough to post pics and such. Love to all of you and thanks for all the good wishes.

Love,
The Smiths plus one
